2017 Athletic Trainer of the Year: Jamie DeRollo

The California Community College Athletic Trainers Association is proud to announce the 2017 Athletic Trainer of the year is Jamie DeRollo from Modesto Junior College.  Jamie is a very active member in representing the athletic training profession at many different levels.  She is currently the Big 8 representative for the CCCATA, Secretary for the CATA, College and University Committee Chair for FWATA  and working on her Doctorate in Athletic Training at Temple University.  Jamie will be honored at the CCCAA “Honoring our Own” luncheon on Thursday March 30th  at the Concord Hilton 1970 Diamond Blvd, Concord CA 94520 @ 1130 am..

Jamie DeRollo returned home to be a Pirate once again, as the Head Athletic Trainer for Modesto Junior College in August 2016.  Jamie is the sole Certified Athletic Trainer for the 21 sports at Modesto Junior College.  Jamie previously worked at San Joaquin Delta College since 2008 as the Women’s Athletic Trainer and then the Head Athletic Trainer.
