3CATA Athletic Trainer of the Year
David Beymer Named California Community College Athletic Trainer of the Year
The California Community College Athletic Trainers Association (3CATA) is proud to recognize David Beymer as the Athletic Trainer of the Year for his outstanding contributions to the profession and his unwavering dedication to student-athlete care.
David has served as the athletic trainer at Hartnell College since 1994, marking 30 years of service at the community college level. Throughout his career, he has been an integral part of 3CATA, actively contributing to the advancement of athletic training in California.
Currently, David serves as the 3CATA conference representative for the Coast Conference (North), acting as a vital liaison for athletic trainers in the region. He is also the chair of the 3CATA Legislative Committee, where he plays a crucial role in ensuring the association remains up to date with evolving NCAA and 3C2A legislation. In addition, he serves as the athletic training representative for 3C2A Track and Field. His expertise and commitment to advocating for best practices in sports medicine have helped shape policies that enhance the safety and well-being of community college student-athletes.
